The almighty push into West Point begins! After getting to the bridge, I realised I left one crucial piece of equipment back at the Riverside base, one propane torch. That propane torch basically stops us making any progress down here at all purely because this place is overrun by burnt out, rotten cars. Not ideal.
Rather than going down the simple route of driving back to West Point, the most logical thing for my brain was just to work with the environment, push our way into West Point hardware store and track down the juiciest torch we could find, as long as there's one there that is and this isn't a total waste of time but only time will tell!
