After a bit of sophomore slump with the second season of Westworld, the writers had to try and get the show back on the right track. With criticisms of the confusing timelines, questionable character decisions, and pacing issues, the third season of the show worked to resolve these issues, but there was a much larger task ahead of them, and that was turning Westworld, this unique story about a theme park set in the wild west, into Westworld, a sci-fi, dystopian, cyberpunk whatever you wanna call it show based on a futuristic society.
