Finally got around to trying out Zakichi's new shmup WEXEW MEXEM, a riff on Capcom's Exed Exes. This is a fun little score attack game with a hyper system that can be prolonged though picking up kanji items spawned by collecting fruit dropped from bullet-cancelling in hyper mode, which adds to the fast-paced aggressive nature of this game. You definitely want hypers for the bosses as you can score a ton from them. Nice little game.
