Anyway, clarifying some things:
"Original Content" What I mean by this is basically stuff that falls under the "Fair Use" law, or basically something I 100% own. Any video that uses non-royalty free music fails to qualify as "Original content" for example.
Although I am interested in becoming a Youtube Partner/monetizing some videos, I don't intend on doing it soon. I'll only attempt it after the animation is done.

Commentary is probably something I'll do a little more often. Most likely only for gameplay videos, but possibly for the chat reactions as well.

Yes, I am Canadian. Even I think my accent is weird. (Listening to yourself really is an ear-opener)

If the youtube partner thing is not possible on this account, I'll probably just start a new one and slowly build that one up over time with commentary videos (This doesn't mean I'd stop this one, by the way).

I know I mentioned "Let's playing" as a thing, but I've also thought of just making simple explanation videos, or "blog" update things. Either way, getting you all involved with me is definitely in my plans: this isn't ALL about the (small) extra income I'd be making, after all. The thumbnail editing feature would be a plus as well.
