For modern players new to the Resident Evil Franchise who want to play the older games, there's no doubt that the control schemes for titles like Resident Evil 5 are problematic at least.
We always have to take into account, and make allowances for, the age of the game, and in RE5's case, it came out in 2009, 14 years ago at the time of recording this video!
I've found that if using a controller, "Preset Option D" is closest to modern shooters, but if you're on PC I personally think that mouse and keyboard, with the aiming reticle (rather than the laser pointer) being more intuitive.
