What Do You Think Of This Movie? #8 (Happy 1-Year Anniversary of RRR)
RRR. It’s been one year since RRR was released in India on March 25, 2022. RRR is also said that this movie is not only be one of the best films of 2022, but also one of the best films of all time both generally and in the action genre, which I highly agree as it’s also both one of my favorite films of 2022 and one of my favorite foreign films (RRR is now my all-time favorite Indian/Telugu film).
While it was critically acclaimed and was a smash box office hit both internationally and domestically, it also won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for the phenomenal song Naatu Naatu, although snubbed for nominations in other categories including Best Picture and Best International Feature.
It was also screened and formatted in IMAX as well, with the open-matte version available on Netflix. And with a sequel in the works, there’s no denying that RRR will stand the test of time in film history along with Everything Everywhere All At Once, The Fabelmans, and Avatar: The Way of Water.
