0What even is this? 40 Winks is a game that came out for the PlayStation and Nintendo 64 back in a time when people were still trying to "Out do" Mario. But considering Mario is getting a movie, i think we know who came out on top.
Gameplay for 40 winks can be summarized as a sort of collectathon where you only really have one important item to collect, while everything else is a resource. Combat is simple and straight forward, and can definitely be fun, however you can quickly find yourself at low health because you have no real indicator outside of a number that cant really be judged at a glance like other games health indicators.
As for game visual designs however, i have to give credit. The cutscene animations and game assets look amazing for a fairly simple ps1 title, and gives me a huge dose of nostalgia.
