The Nintendo Gamecube is Nintendo's first disc based system meant to compete with the Sony PlayStation 2 and Microsoft Xbox. While the system was powerful, the tiny discs limited third party support and overall sales of the systems weren't up to par.
Fast forward to 2022 and video game prices are sky high and Gamecube being one of the systems that increased the most in the past 2 years.
Gamecube is still pretty popular despite the high prices. But that means we can look at the trends of the Gamecube to get an idea of how the game market will trend as a whole.
