What Happens When History Breaks in CK2? - CK2 to EU4 to Victoria 3
What happens when the world stops making sense?
In this Mega Campaign, I used the controversial "When the World Stopped Making Sense" (WTWSMS) mod for Crusader Kings 2, starting all the way from the 470s AD — deep in the Dark Ages — and ran it until the end of CK2. Then I converted the save into Europa Universalis IV (EU4), and eventually into Victoria 3.
Due to WTWSMS’s unique province layout and alternate history structure, the conversion process created one of the strangest and most fascinating worlds I’ve ever played. There was no Islam, no Seljuks, no Mongol invasion, and a whole lot of weird anomalies in CK2 — but that's what made it fun. I also made some changes to make Africa relevant and powerful in Victoria 3.
✨ If you're looking to explore the true potential of alternate history mega campaigns, or want to see how to fix province mismatches, enhance gameplay, and make Africa playable in Vic3, this video is for you!
