Just an idea I had back then when Necrodancer was close to being released.

Basically, it was a secret area where all the enemies would be mini-bosses (and pixies, just for fun), similar to how the Chest works in TBoI. But because this is Necrodancer, you would have to kill all of the mini-bosses before being able to proceed to the next level.

It may be a bit over the top, but it was pretty fun.
