232If Raditz ran away to earth, likely as a result of Vegeta and Nappa’s mistreatment, he could potentially be a valuable ally to Goku and his friends during OG dragon ball. Or he could be a more dangerous scourage than any they were meant to face at that time in canon. Admittedly, he would at first seem like just another villain, as even if he did help defeat someone like Pilaf, the Red Ribbon Army or King Piccolo, it would be with the intent to rule over the planet himself due to his might makes right saiyan mentality. Fortunately, upon meeting Goku and being reminded of their mother’s kindness through the younger boy’s kind nature, he may eventually come around to his ways, especially if this earth place keeps offering him yummy food and fun adventures whenever he saves it from the piddly little villains that keep cropping up every few years. Due to not summoning Vegeta and Nappa on top of changing the full course of Dragon Ball already, the entire saiyan and Frieza sagas would be averted, meaning the first major threats would come in the form of the androids, who would be heralded by either a Future Trunks who is the son of Raditz and Bulma, or a future version of Bulma herself. This would give the saiyan brothers plenty of motivation to train, with it likely being here that one or both of them attain super saiyan after witnessing the death of a friend at the hands of the androids or Cell, before training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber either together or separately, with whoever goes first then killing Semi-Perfect Cell and averting the Cell Games. Though its still entirely possible that Raditz’ tendency to make mistakes wouldn’t be all gone just yet, and if not from him Goku certainly could have taken some influence from his brother in overconfidence which could in turn to his still making mistakes as well. Though if not. from here the Buu Saga would also be something of a cakewalk, as due to training together for 7 more years, Goku, Raditz and possibly their kids would have acquired and mastered super saiyan 2, meaning when they need to confront Babidi they can dogwalk his minions including Dabura, and end the threat of Buu before it even begins, allowing them to settle back into peacetimes … that is until the arrival of Beerus…
