La Llorona is from Mexican folklore, it translates to, the weeping woman. La llorona is a vengeful spirit who cries as she looks for her children whom she killed. Her cries, if you hear them, are said to bring misfortune and afterlife. There have been several sightings over the years, but no source for the story has ever been found. But what if La llorona wasn’t just a story, what if there really was a spirit stalking riverbanks, looking for children. What if the curse of la llorona was real.
