In the second AVP movie, AVP Requiem (Aliens vs Predator Requiem) when a Predator scoutship went down on Earth, an Elite Predator known as Wolf, went there to clean up the scene and prevent a Xenomorph outbreak from happening.
He arrived by a drop-pod launched from his ship, and located the downed vessel. There he interfaced with a dead Predators mask, discovering that a PredAlien was the cause, and that several Xenomorph XX121’s had escaped the wreckage.
He tracked them to the sewer-system of the surrounding town, and fought some Warrior Aliens, but was attacked by the PredAlien and it escaped.
He followed after it, eventually ending up in the town’s hospital, where he and the hybrid had their final showdown on the roof.
The PredAlien seemed to be winning at first, as it was bigger and stronger, but the two found themselves in a deadlock, with the Yautja stabbing his gauntlet blades through the Xenomorphs head, and its tail impaling him through the torso.
Just then, a fighter jet launched a Nuclear bomb at the town, as to both sanitise, and cover up the incident.
The Wolf Predator, and Predalien were both vapourised in the explosion.
But what if the Predator, instead of being blown up with the town, successfully completed his mission?
So, I would say for Wolf to avoid being killed, he would have had to either kill the PredAlien somehow before it reached the hospital, or for some reason the Air Force don’t drop the nuke.
Perhaps, in the sewer, if he saw the PredAlien before it hit him from behind, him still having his Plasmacasters, he might have been able to shoot it and kill it there, he’d then finish the other Xenos, and make his way out before anyone was the wiser.
Or otherwise, the nuke doesn’t get dropped, and he can defeat the PredAlien without getting killed as well, but this seems unlikely, as what would stop the bomb being dropped? That was something out of the control of any of the films central characters, and as well as that, the PredAlien was really powerful, so I don’t see him defeating it without his Plasmacaster, which he lost earlier on.
If he could defeat the PredAlien, by the time he’s at the hospital he probably wouldn’t have time to get clear before being vapourised, so I think the best way would have been for him to defeat the Predalien during their first encounter.
So if we say he deals with the Xenos early on, removes all the evidence, and his cleanup mission is complete, what would he do afterwards?
I think he would return to where his drop-pod landed, and then call his ship to come pick him up.
Something we’ve not really seen is that, when a Predator arrives by a drop-pod, what happens to the pod afterwards? Does it just get left there and they expect no-one to find it? Or would he maybe use an implosion-bomb like he did on the crashed ship?
What I think would happen is that each drop-pod has a built in implosion-bomb like he used on the ship, and that would activate after a set amount of time to let the occupant get clear of it, and then it wouldn’t remain there to be found.
Then Wolf would call his ship down to pick him up and return him to Yautja Prime, and this would be just another successful mission under his belt. And he may even have a PredAlien trophy to put in his lair.
Although that is, if he thinks its worthy of taking, as in some media, Predators don’t appreciate the idea of Predaliens existing, and they see them as abominations and an insult to their species.
