"Diplomacy is Not an Option" is a city builder survival RTS or something like that. At least it has elements from these different genres, similar to e.g. "They Are Billions", "Age of Darkness", etc.
Difference to these is that there is a medieval setting and you have to take care of resource transportation. So you build up your own castle, a little bit similar to e.g. "Stronghold" (this is how the game caught specifically my attention btw.)
Means you make sure that your inhabitants have a space to live and food. In exchange for that they collect resources like wood, stone, etc.
With these you can build more buildings, do research and most important create defensive structures. You will also recruit soldiers and siege weapons from your population to man the defences.
You will need them to fend off the enemy hordes that are attacking at specific days. In addition you can conquer more and more territory from the surrounding enemy camps with your military.

This is a demo version of the game therefore not all the buildings, research, units are available yet. The release date of the final version is January 26th 2022.
