Fatal Mode (Atomic) is a hardcore difficulty mod for Duke Nukem 3D - Atomic Edition, created by Oszkár Winkler. It adds many extra enemies to the original levels, making the game much more challenging but still not frustrating. Duke loses all his weapons and equipment at the end of each level, so feel free to use whatever you get on your current mission! The mod not only raises the enemy count but also gives more weapons, ammo and even secret places to find, so the gameplay remains fair. If you are a beginner Duke3D player, then Fatal Mode is probably not for you. The mod covers all 4 episodes and features great Duke Nukem covers and remixes from the following artists: Markie Music; DAR; Mike Norvak and Andrey Avkhimovich. The small rest of the music is from the HRP Music Pack and from the movie: Shutter Island. On the Nature of Daylight by Max Richter, remixed by BETKR.
