"What Is It" by Booglee {All Coins} | Geometry Dash 2.11
1,851Booglee is back with another level, and it's yet another banger. The song is an experimental mix of demos by Spaze, which fits perfectly for this level's different parts. It really feels like you're playing a mix of levels by different creators, but it stays way too consistent to actually be that as it's obviously just made by Booglee. Visually, there's nothing to complain about for me. Sure, some parts are more interesting than others, but it really depends on what the song is offering at that part. He requested this for a Demon rating, which may be a stretch, but I could potentially see it becoming an Easy Demon. Some parts are a bit tricky, especially the transitions, which needs some quick practice. It definitely deserves an Epic rating, though.
- OVERALL COIN RATING -
Bronze. 1/4. The coins are all quite lazy and don't really offer anything special. They may be a tiny bit harder than the normal route, but it's not enough considering the difficulty of the level.
- 1st coin: Bronze. At 0:12, you can go above the normal route and get the coin. This would have been decent for a collectible that unlocks a coin later on, but for being the coin itself, it's just far too simple and easy to get anything above a Bronze rating.
- 2nd coin: Bronze. This coin is a bit cooler than the first, but still a bit too little for a Silver rating. All you have to do it switch gravity right before the Cube portal at 0:29, which takes you to the coin. I like how the coin has a custom look before the transition, but that's not enough to make up for the lack of difficulty or complexity whatsoever. Imagine if there was a normal gravity portal right before the Cube portal that could be disabled with a collectible in the same place as the 1st coin. That would be fine for a Silver rating as it would have more to it.
- 3rd coin: Bronze. This coin is just like the 1st one. At 1:03, you can go up and take a tighter route to get the coin. It's far too simple for a Silver rating. Again, it's fine to do a collectible in places like these, but for the coin, there has to be something more involved, especially when the level is aiming to be an Easy Demon.
