"FANCY me an OBJECT" (Demon) by Jeyzor {All Coins} | Geometry Dash 2.11
936This is certainly an interesting name for Jeyzor's comeback level, but I wouldn't expect anything less after levels like OwO and Matilda the Machine. More importantly, the level itself looks great. It feels quite different from his past levels, featuring a ton of detail in both the background and foreground. The only thing I found a bit lacking is air decoration from 0:30 until the end, but especially at 0:46. Some arrows or pointers showing the path would most likely do the trick. However, the background and foreground is so detailed that it isn't really too noticeable. Jeyzor did a great job for the transitions between parts, such as at 0:12 and 0:42. This makes the flow of the level's visuals very good. I found the gameplay a bit unbalanced with the Spider section being a bit harder, but it's the drop so it also makes sense. The level was a bit laggy for me, which means it'll probably lag quite a bit for many people. This may make it unable to get an Epic rating unfortunately, but we will see. It should be about a Medium Demon.
- OVERALL COIN RATING -
Silver. 2/4. Both of the coins are noticeably harder than the normal route, and Jeyzor also made custom visuals to make the coins fit in more with the level. They aren't original, though, and the first could have had a bit more to it.
- 1st coin: Silver. During the transition at 0:05, you have to get ready to hold just enough once you hit the pad. This is a Robot bug that has been used for coins quite a few times in the past. If you hold as you hit the pad, you get launched up. Usually people make it so that you have to hold as much as possible, but this coin requires you to hold a lot less than that, making it very hard to time. You should go try it out yourself. Most of my deaths were holding just a tiny bit too little or much here. The coin is then found right afterwards, which Jeyzor remade and animated very nicely to fit the level's visuals. Since this kinda coin has been done a lot in the past, and it's really only one difficult timing and the coin isn't hidden at all, it can't get higher than a Silver rating. If the coin was replaced with a key that unlocked a coin path later on, that would have made it more like a Gold coin as it would have more depth.
- 2nd coin: Gold. The second coin has the depth that the first is lacking. You need to collect 3 collectibles, which are all custom-made by the way, and they are all harder than the normal route. The first is at 0:32, where you have to double click fast and fall down to get it. You can see just how well the collectible blends in with the part, making it difficult to notice. The second one is right after at 0:33, and the third is at 0:37. Both of these require more timing than the normal route. The coin is then unlocked at 0:42, which is custom-made just like the first one. Instead of just 1 difficult timing like the first coin, this has more depth to it by including custom collectibles that can be hard to notice, making for a better coin overall.
