What is the Most Useful Item in Phasmophobia? - Item Tier List
5,098Welcome back to Phasmophobia! This time we are doing an item tier list! This was honestly really hard! I tried to make this list as interesting as possible and ranked items based on a lot more than "are they required in a normal game" otherwise all evidence items would just be S Tier and it would be boring (in my opinion) to not consider more factors and have no separation. This might make some people disagree with my list and I think that is completely fair! I ranked all items based on their strength, diversity and usefulness. I hope this list is informative! Even if you don't agree with all the rankings I hope it was still fun to learn about potentially new uses that you didn't know some items had! Much love and see you during the streams :D

There are two things I want to change about my ranking:
1. After thinking more about my ranking I definitely think Spirit box is at most A tier. Yes, it is extremely useful when you are dealing with a spirit box ghost, but in 50% of games that won't happen and then it's completely useless. So I'm changing my official ranking to an A tier on that item!
2. A lot of people disagreed about my placement of the lighter, I think this is just purely opinion based. I put it in C tier (I change my mind later in the video) because it's completely useless by itself. Now you could say that also applies to smudge sticks and candles but I think that is just a cop-out answer because those items have very strong and unique uses. YES, they need a lighter to function so I guess you could say the lighter is required, but I just chose not to take that into account when ranking the lighter by itself. Honestly you cannot rank the lighter at all in my opinion, it just creates many inconsistencies no matter how you rank it. So just decide wherever you would put the lighter for yourself, I'm going to just not put it anywhere on the list at all, it's an unranked item.
