What I can understand is that this game surrounds a person's past and the regrets he has been building up over the years due to a certain event...

He went back to where it all started, hoping to reunite with the loved ones he once left behind by using an/a ouija board. All this, to try and close a chapter full of pain and suffering once and for all.
