For people who were able to go to E3, there was a playable demo for the new Mirror's Edge. They didn't show much of this demo during the press conference, so few people got to see how the game actually plays. I was fortunate enough to be there, so here's a good old fashioned ovendonkey analysis for you, and it's only a few weeks late.
They were very strict about no one filming the demo, so that's why you haven't seen it on the internet anywhere.

This is a kinda long video, so here's the short version: I liked it.
If the whole thing is like the demo, it's going to be an amazing game

I feel pretty confident about my observations, but I should probably warn you that it's possible I'm wrong about some stuff.
I'd also like to remind you that the game is in a pre-alpha state so a lot of it could change by the time it's released.
