What on Earth is going on with Civilization 7?!
4,694Civilization 7 has been met with mixed reviews, facing backlash from some predictable inclusions like leaders and changing civs, but also some core problems or missing elements. In this video I'll cover off the main criticisms of Civilization 7 as I see them: missing features, bad UI, bad maps, the DLC model, and multiplayer issues. Then, we'll review Firaxis' response and what's coming in the next Civ 7 patch. Finally I'll conclude by giving my impression of civ 7 following on from my civ 7 review, where I'll again conclude that this is the definitive Civ moving forward, one that will improve with time, and one that rivals the launch version of civilization 5 and civ 6 with ease. If this is true, and the civ history of updates and improvements continues, I believe Civ 7 will eventually (1-2 years max, for most) claim the mantle of the most popular civ game and hold it for years to come.
