What Sonic 06 could've been (Project 06 TGS 05' Demo)
1the 2005 Tokyo Toy Show build of Sonic 06 is quite interesting, featuring some notable differences from the final build. these differences include a different idle animation for Sonic, the gameplay is slower, the rail grinding seems notably snappier and faster than the retail release and the victory theme is taken from Sonic Adventure 2. while this build is lost, and likely will never be put out there publicly, there is thankfully a fan recreation from the talented ChaosX that aims to recreate this fabled version of the game as close as possible using the same framework from the fantastic Project 06 PC Remake.
