It's important to understand the purpose of raids. It's so easy to misunderstand the point of this feature and focus entirely on the numbers that they bring a channel. Raids are ultimately not an avenue for meaningful growth. They give your channel only an extremely brief moment of exposure to a new audience, the majority of which will leave almost immediately. Instead, treat raids as a form of connection between two creators. It let's you know that that other creator likes you and your content and is entrusting you with their viewership. If you get even one percent of their audience to stick around and start chatting, that's just icing on the cake.
