Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, the full standalone game inspired by the Borderlands 2 DLC Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, will be releasing in a few days. Different from previous Borderlands titles, Wonderlands strays away from the more futuristic theme and instead revolves around a Dungeons & Dragons-style campaign in the from of "Bunkers & Badasses". This tabletop-inspiration offers a lot of new opportunities for game changes. Many of these changes inspire hope for the potential of Wonderlands. Major improvements, such as the introduction of dedicated melee weapons, may significantly improve the gameplay experience. However, in order for this experience to truly shine, Wonderlands needs to get quite a few things right. Issues like optimization or lack of farmable bosses have held back previous Borderlands titles and it would be extremely unfortunate if these avoidable mistakes would be repeated or new issues would be introduced.
