What's In A Final Level? - A SMM2 Making Stream
1I've been working on my Super World in Mario Maker 2 for most of 4 years and I'm finally on the final level, Bonus Biome 5: Playtime Palace, but I'm not sure where to take it. I have one good room and am looking for some idea how to give it that final level feel.
So, what I ended up doing was spending most of this stream playing other platformers, checking out their final levels, their final secret levels and a few other levels besides looking for inspiration the entire way. I tried to include a whole lot of platformers which was fun, but took time.
After all that I returned to SMM2 and tried to put into practice some of the ideas I gleamed playing those other games. I'll say, I'm still not 100% on where exactly the level is going but... I think I did walk away with a better idea of where this level is going which is for sure a start. I think this was helpful. Ideally, also entertaining.
