What's In A Lost World? - A SMM2 Making Stream
1Been meaning to kick off the development of my 8-3, the third level of Bonus Biome, the last world of my Super World, and didn't really have any big ideas so I decided to focus this stream more on playing through the Lost Worlds of the classics and talking through what I can learn from them as I go.
Specifically, I played through the Lost Worlds (bosses excluded) of DKC2, DKC3, Mario World and DKCTF. It was interesting (I think? I hope) to go through these all in a row and really try to pull out all the lessons, and I'll say, I did go into the Making portion of the stream with a bunch of things I wanted to try a bunch of which turned out really well.
Seriously, I went into this stream with no idea beyond clouds, chain chomps and maybe using under used elements if possible and, after spending a while in other games, the ideas just starting flowing one after another and I think I got a pretty good start on my 8-3, which may or may not be named Pokey Pressure.
