Asus UK were kind enough to send me a ROG Ally Ryzen Z1 (Non Extreme) handheld Windows 11 gaming PC to try out, and I have to say I've been very impressed so far.
Despite receiving unfavourable reviews at launch due to it's less powerful processor, this version of the Ally still has the amazing VRR Variable Refresh Rate screen, great sound, 512gb of storage and a firm factor similar to the Steam Deck.
To get better performance though, I've changed the display to 720p 60hz, and as you can see in this Fallout 4 gameplay, it looks and runs great.
