In this, my first video featuring the ROG Ally that Asus were kind enough to lend me, I give you a brief introduction to this amazing Windows 11 Hand Held Gaming PC, by putting it thru one of any Gaming PC's hardest challenges - gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077.
To get the most out of the ROG Ally Ryzen Z1 Non Extreme, I changed the display the 720p 60hz, and ran CP2077 using the Steam Deck preset, but at 1280 x 720, turning the crowd density up to medium, and the motion blur to low.
Although the Ally was only outputting at between 20-30 fps, its VRR Variable Refresh Rate Screen makes the game incredibly smooth, and makes playing at these low frame-rates absolutely acceptable.
