What's Next for Exiled
1282023 is over and it’s been an interesting year, to say the least. I’ve had extreme ups and downs. For the first time ever I’ve been able to say I do YouTube as a job, which I dreamed of doing since I was 9. At the beginning of the year, the channel was at 8,000 subscribers and we are finishing the year at 26,000. During those 365 days, I found myself quitting my job at the beginning of January, doing my original content plan which had me uploading across my channels every single day. During the year I chose to change the channel to video essays only as it’s the content that performs the best and that you guys like to watch but it’s also the content that I find the most rewarding. However, this year I’ve found myself dealing with anxiety for the first time in my life. From a mixture of learning how to deal with the channel, people, and stats to just general life things. So I intend to change this during next year. To bring a bit more life back into what I loved about this channel in the first place I’ll talk about what I’m doing more for myself. I know this video won’t be for everyone so I’m not expecting it to do well and probably in the short term will damage the channel from a returning viewer perspective however if you’ve been around for a while you would have seen some of the older channel updates as I like to be real with everyone and that includes you guys. So let’s Have a chat about what’s next for the channel and me.
