What's Next? VOTE for it.
237Help me out by voting between two no damage runs that aren't Zero series related, considering I want a break from those for now. Note that just because one will lose in this vote doesn't mean I'll toss it in the bin. The loser WILL be ran, but likely some other time down the road (or may reappear in another vote in the future). I just want you, the viewer, to have some more involvement in what you see here. I want to do more of these voting segments down the line, which means the choices will eventually expand beyond just two.
First choice - Mega Man X4 No Damage ~ X run, dubbed "Weapon Master":
Weapon Master was an idea I've had for a long time, though has been victim to being on the backburner. The concept is simple: I'll be using ALL of X's arsenal in a myriad of ways that grants maximum mileage of each weapon, and considering X4 is in the upper echelon of great weapons right after the likes of X1, this run serves as a visual representation of X's full potential in X4, and how ALL weapons enriches the experience of stage traversal while still maintaining a fast, consistent pace. Tools like using Lightning Web as a makeshift double jump or Aiming Laser destroying waves of weaker enemies while being able to whisk on by them is only a mere taste of technical things X can do that honestly makes him more fun to play than Zero in this game.
Second Choice - Mega Man X8 No Damage ~ Zero Remastered:
Technically, the run I did a few years ago was done with Layer, but considering she and Zero are essentially the same character, this counts as a remaster. This has also been another run pushed back due to Zero series focus. I absolutely HATE the majority of my first run, mainly because Zero's tech went largely unused in most of the stages, and I used D Glaive FAR more than I'd have liked (considering it and Sigma Blade trivializes the game, and you know how much I personally dislike cheesing my runs). Most people don't have a problem with this, but "I" do, so based on the standard of consistency I've set for myself, it needs to be redone. X8 Zero is quite frankly THE most fun version of him in the X series, considering broken nonsense on the same caliber as SDC (Saber Dash Cancel) and Guard Shell glitch aren't there, and his techniques leave themselves open for lots of creativity. There's still glitches like flying with the spinning slash, but at least that doesn't bore me to death like mashing two buttons to win.

This is an opportunity I'm providing to build a community-spread activity that'll eventually grow into you all having a larger influence on the content being shown on the Magnus Zero channel. Guides (which... yeah, I haven't stopped making those. Just bear with me. Got a life outside this channel) are influenced by viewer demand, so I eventually want runs to be fair game, so long as it's something actually fun and interests me in doing... because eventually I'm going to run out of ideas for challenge runs, lmfao.
I don't do stuff like minimalist runs, so I wouldn't get my hopes up with seeing stuff like that showing up in voting videos.
