OH BOY IT'S DECEMBER. Time to talk about that super relevant thing that everyone is definitely still talking about: the new Overwatch hero!

Ashe is an interesting odd duck in the OW lineup, in that she seems to have almost no connection to the rest of Overwatch beyond "she used to hang out with McCree." She also touches on themes of class, privilege, money, found family vs biological that are... interesting, but also pretty far removed from the central questions that Overwatch otherwise concerns itself with. Plus she's weirdly clean for a rough-riding, tough-talking, sharp-shootin' desert outlaw.
