Poppy, the Keeper of the Hammer, is one of the more substantial character updates in League of Legends' history, changing almost every aspect of who the character is and what she's about to fit an entirely new definition not only of her species but of her personality.

So, was it successful? Did it lead to a better character design and story? Yes. Yes of course it did, old Poppy was kind of horrible. But it might be interesting to talk about why!
