1) WhatsApp New PDF Scan: WhatsApp's new document scanning feature allows users to scan documents directly from the app and share them in chats or groups. WhatsApp has recently added a new feature that allows users to scan documents directly via camera. WhatsApp has taken a step forward in simplifying document sharing with a new feature that allows users to scan documents directly within the app. This new functionality, available to some users with the latest WhatsApp for iOS update (version 24.25.80), is seamlessly integrated into the document-sharing menu. With this addition, WhatsApp users can quickly capture a document using their device’s camera without needing external scanning tools or apps. The rollout is happening gradually, with more users expected to gain access over the coming weeks, as confirmed by the latest WhatsApp changelog, reported by WABetaInfo.
2) Amazon Prime No Sharing:Amazon has introduced new password-sharing rules for its Prime members in India. Starting January 2025, Prime members will only be allowed to be signed into a maximum of five devices only. This limit also includes a maximum of two TVs.The official statement from the company states, “As part of your Prime membership, you and your household are entitled to enjoy Prime Video on up to five devices. Starting January 2025, we are updating our usage terms in India to include up to two TVs as part of your five devices entitlement. You can manage your devices on your Settings page or buy another Prime membership to watch Prime Video on more devices."
3) New XMail.Com 2025: Elon Musk is rumored to be developing an email service called Xmail that could challenge Gmail's dominance in the email market. This sparked curiosity, hinting that Musk might be considering a new approach to email, possibly as part of his ongoing quest to reshape the digital world.
4) Apple Banned iPhone 14 & SE: iPhone 14 series models and iPhone SE are no longer available in most of the European Union countries including Germany, Spain, France, Italy, and Portugal. With change in regulations in the EU, technology companies had until December 28 to update their existing device with USB-C. To comply with the EU’s new rules, Apple has discontinued the iPhone 14 and iPhone SE in the region, as these models feature the lightning port. While they remain available through third-party sellers until stocks last, the regulation prohibits brands from selling non-USB-C products directly. Outside the EU, including major markets like the United States, India, and China, these models continue to be available for purchase.
