When a Game Forces You to Reflect on Life
It's both magical and terrifying, what a story and it's characters can do.
Not just in the moment, but even after it's all said and done. How emotions and experiences can be mirrored even when all that connects us are plastic buttons and moving pixels on a screen.
But it feels so real.
For me, it felt like this was a moment where the planets aligned by pure chance, with the emotional aftermath of this game meeting perfectly with a period of deep self-reflection.
Because when the story of this game ended, it marked the beginning of a new journey. One of self-discovery.
It's scary how much our minds can work behind the scenes processing everything in ways we can't understand. And it's only when we push deep into it that we learn more about ourselves than we thought possible.
And yet, at the heart of it all, it’s just a bunch of video games.
