When All You Have Is A Hammer... | F2P(-ish) Armory #8 | Eternal Card Game
10After kicking off the Twitch stream towards the end of 2017 as well as the new year for 2018, it's FINALLY time to do what I've wanted to for a long time now: a F2P (free-to-play) Traditional Armory run from Bronze to Master. This is an idea I've been kicking around since 2015 when I played Hearthstone and the main reason why I finally started streaming on Twitch in the first place. We get to find out in this episode how powerful Stonescar Maul can be in the right situation.
There are some specific restrictions to this run and why I'm calling it a F2P"-ish" run. This is on a second account that I set up awhile back for the purpose of doing this eventually. No legendaries that you can open from packs will be allowed. However, any legendary cards from the adventures are allowed. To simulate the F2P experience as best as possible, I will start off by only having access to the Jekk's Bounty campaign in addition to any non-legendary cards from full sets. The reason why is because if a new player follows the path that most players advise, they should be somewhat close to 20,000 gold to purchase Jekk's Bounty. That path is as follows: complete the opening campaign, reach Master in Gauntlet, reach Master in Forge and, finally, complete all the Puzzles. Jekk's Bounty is the cheaper of the two adventures and the card Quarry is arguably more important to playing Armory than Tavrod is. Once the account reaches 25,000 gold, we will have "access" to The Tale of Horus Traver. At which point we can play Tavrod in the deck if needed.
Hopefully, you all enjoy this series. This week is going to be a bit of an experimental week regarding uploading this in episodes. The good news is that I will be uploading to the channel six days a week until this series ends. So you all get to see/hear more of me :). Honestly, I could easily see myself uploading twice a day depending on how things go. I'll be trying and tweaking some different things depending on how the videos do and, of course, any feedback I get from you all.
