When Everything Somehow Works Out.. #shorts #shiny #shinypokemon
I found a shiny Rockruff in Pokémon Violet at the last second! This is the first Gen 9 shiny ever found, and I'm so excited to share it with you all. Here's how I did it:
I was shiny hunting Rockruff in the new region of Paldea in Pokémon Violet. I had been hunting for a few hours, and I was starting to get discouraged. But then, at the last second, I saw a Rockruff with a different colored exclamation point above its head. I knew immediately that it was a shiny!
Tips for finding shiny Pokémon:
Use the Masuda Method: This is a breeding method that increases your chances of hatching a shiny Pokémon. To use the Masuda Method, you need to breed two Pokémon from different regions. For example, if you breed a Japanese Rockruff with an English Rockruff, you will have a higher chance of hatching a shiny Rockruff.
Get a Shiny Charm: This is a key item that increases your chances of finding a shiny Pokémon in the wild. To get the Shiny Charm, you need to complete the National Pokédex in Pokémon Sword and Shield.
Chain encounters: When you battle the same Pokémon over and over again, your chances of finding a shiny of that Pokémon increase. To chain encounters, simply find a Pokémon that you want to shiny hunt and start battling it. If you defeat the Pokémon, simply find another one of the same Pokémon and battle it again. Continue this process until you find a shiny Pokémon.
Be patient! Shiny hunting can take a long time, but it's worth it when you finally find that shiny Pokémon.
Additional tips:
Pay attention to your surroundings. Shiny Pokémon have different colored sparkles than regular Pokémon.
If you're using the Masuda Method, make sure that the two Pokémon you're breeding are from different regions.
If you're chaining encounters, don't break the chain! If you defeat a different Pokémon, or if you run away from a battle, your chain will be broken and you'll have to start over.

Shiny hunting strategies:
There are a few different strategies that you can use to shiny hunt Rockruff. The most common strategy is to chain encounters. To chain encounters, simply find a Rockruff and start battling it. If you defeat the Rockruff, simply find another one of the same Pokémon and battle it again. Continue this process until you find a shiny Rockruff.
Another strategy that you can use is to use the Masuda Method. To use the Masuda Method, you need to breed two Rockruff from different regions. For example, if you breed a Japanese Rockruff with an English Rockruff, you will have a higher chance of hatching a shiny Rockruff.
Finally, you can also try to find a shiny Rockruff in the wild. However, this is the most difficult strategy, as the chances of finding a shiny Pokémon in the wild are very low.
