When Hezbolla Defeated Israel In 2006 #shorts
On July 12, 2006, Hezbollah carried out a cross-border assault on an Israeli armored patrol, sending two soldiers to hell, and arresting two others. Next, Israel used American tax funds and combat jets to launch air strikes. However, things quickly deteriorated once Israel began a ground invasion of southern Lebanon. More than a hundred Israeli soldiers lost their lives, and over a thousand were injured because Hezbollah's well-planned guerrilla campaign gave them a decisive advantage in deciding where and when to attack. Hezbollah also managed to successfully struck the INS Hanit, the Israeli navy's flagship with anti-ship missile, resulting in the deaths of four sailors. Virtually everyone agrees that Israel was unable to achieve its strategic goals. They were not successful in either defeating Hezbollah or recovering the two hostages. Israel's military efforts were unsuccessful, and Hezbollah fought back and won, according to a spokesperson for the UN peacekeeping force.
