This is in PvZ Heroes btw.

What happened is that I luckily got just the right huffs in order to keep it alive and kill what they were throwing at me. I even had to kill a Mondo Bronto when the poison ivy was at 3 strength. There was some pretty big brained stuff going on that match.

If I remember correctly, the buffs and nerfs were:
-Plant food (+1,+1 plus bonus attack)
-Vegetation mutation (+2,+2)
-Fertilize (+3,+3)
-Blazing bark (+4,+0)
-Opponent’s nibble (-1,-1)

I think that sounds about right (I was also hit for 5 by the Mondo Bronto and I think one other time by another unit)
