When the DM REALLY has it out for your character in D&D
108During @ThatOverkillGuy's Dungeons and Dragons campaign, Last Haven, ChouRaven finally comes up with a plan to deal with his current affliction with Heat Metal. His Echo cannot be afflicted by any status ailments, and thus can attack normally, allowing him to attempt to break the spell caster's concentration. He instead manages to take out the enemy entirely, fixing the problem anyways. Man, the DM really has it out for his character.
