Apparently after replicating this glitch, it is possible to make this card cost just one even, if you time it right.

If you hit the card closer to the activation, the less it will cost. So if you were to hit on the very frames of the charge, it'd cost 4 instead of 5. and if you were to hit it frames before activation, it'd cost 1 instead of 5. It is timing dependant too, so you're able to get anything that ranges from 5 to 1cost. AFAIK there is no way to make it cost 0 cards.

It's a major disatvanage to the SBD users, and a huge up for characters with windup spellcards, since they could potentionally set up a trap for them to purposefully hit them with the SBD during the windup, having more cards to use right after the attack.
