When Tower Unite's Libretro does not have FFMpeg
1Since Tower Unite's version of Libretro does not include the FFMpeg core, which would let you watch videos straight from your hard-drive, you can either watch a video on YouTube, or use catbox.moe to upload a webm file and watch a video from your computer that way. The purpose is for other players who visit your condo to view the same YouTube or Catbox video that you are watching or streaming.
I will also show a short 4:3 video clip and point out how squeezed the video is on even a CRT TV in the game. Sizing it into a 16:9 video will make the video display more correctly, as the game's Media Player is suited to play 16:9 videos. I have uploaded the two versions of the same clip on Catbox's timed version known as Litterbox, which allows me to have them up for about an hour and then they are deleted. While it is handy, its rules though are rather quite strict (See its FAQ for details). Trying to watch a movie with a friend that you first upload on Catbox and have it timed? Well... proceed at your own risk, I guess.
And as for the room that I'm in, it's basically the recreation of the EmuVR room that I built on Smooth Dirt. In the past, I did some videos in the House condo, but I found it to be a rather boring and tasteless condo to live in.
And speaking of those videos, I've just found out that the face of the CRT TV that I featured in the older videos is indeed paintable, so I copied the color of its body and applied it to the face, so that it looks all fully black now. However, painting the face also paints the Supersonic wordmark with it.
This video also showcases how the VCR works, which works like, as you might expect, like a VCR. Yet, once you've inserted a VHS into the VCR when connected to a TV, it spews out the VHS with a media link on it within just around 3 seconds into the video. I also discovered a bug, which involves two of the same video engraved on the VHS tape added to the queue once inserted into the VCR. It's even the same for any YouTube video, meaning that you watch the same video twice rather than once, unless you open the queue and delete the last video in it.
