"Heads up!" because you need to "wake up" from the dream. "Heads up!" because there is light at the end of the tunnel. In a sense, these lines are pointed at Sunday.
Sunday wants an endless dream where no one could be harmed: a paradise. Robin's answer to this is Freedom from the Order, symbolized by the Astral Express. "The wheels are spinning across the plains in valleys deep to dawn: the wheels that sing an unending dream." She believes in a future where we can all claim our fate and attain our own happiness: that is her endless dream---a paradise.
Sunday faced the darkness of the world, and that the strong would always win over the weak. He firmly believes that evil will always prevail and that this world is shrouded in darkness. To this, Robin replies that the world is never set in stone, that our future is always changing, and that the world isn't just in darkness. "Heads up! The tracks are running across the plains where shadows hide. We run! We stride!"
Essentially, "Hope is a thing with feathers" is Robin's answer to Sunday's own answer. Where Sunday favored control and stagnation to protect the weak, Robin sang of a train that races across the plains and the wheels of a clock that forever ticks forward to the future. Where Sunday hides in cowardice, Robin sings to face it like a train that runs across the plains until the shadows cannot catch up.
It's the antithesis of Sunday's entire philosophy. It's even more emphasized in the lyrics. Sunday always speaks of him being the "ONE" and "ONLY" sun in the sky. Meanwhile, Robin's song is sung in the plural "WE."
He is the Order, and she is the Harmony.
