67Where the Wild Things Are is a 2009 platformer/adventure game based on the movie of the same name which was based on the 1963 Maurice Sendak's children's book of the same name. In the game a boy named Max arrives on the island and discovers a scepter among a pile of bones. He follows a bull-like creature and discovers the Wild Things village. Originally, they plan to eat him but after he cries out "Be Still" they get startled and knock over their homes. Impressed, they invite Max to stay with him. As the game progresses, the island crumbles, Max is made their King, and he helps them escape to the moon.
