Which Browser Does Work on Windows XP in 2022 Onwards?
4testing google chrome for windows xp.
clock is ahead. so i need to adjust date/time in 2016.
chrome can load webpage but not everything is fully loaded.
next i will try open gmail and youtube.
try to open one of youtube video.
but it seems like cannot play anything.
soooo, an Outdated Chrome is useless to function properly
now in 2022 onwards unless i switch to firefox ESR.
i already tried with opera, but same as chrome
no luck, cannot open youtube, but still can browse any other sites.
firefox ESR can still play youtube video just fine
but it is hardly eat up RAMs
and still can load ADS just fine
so this is the only working browser to play YT videos on windows xp
conclusion:
on windows xp, only two browser keeps functioning
firefox ESR (for YT videos) and Opera 36 (for browsing sites)
this problem kind of remind me, it will be the same goes to Windows 7 in 2026 onwards.
when those times arrives, windows 7 is useless pretty much as windows xp did Now.
so i encouragely urges you to move on into windows 10/11.
(if you still loves Windows 7, you don't have to worry too much)
You can still use any browser that support windows 7 like Edge, Firefox, Opera and Brave in 2026.
unless the developer stopped altogether future access like windows xp
