Which Character or Series Came First?

Starting off it’s Kimba vs Simba:

Now the easy answer is Kimba, since he came out in 1950 and The Lion King Came out in 1994, but There is a Walt Disney Comic published in 1955 called The African Lion which features a Lion named Simba, Now this is technically a different Disney Lion who happens to be Named Simba, but some fans like to connect him to The Lion King Family Tree.

Next it’s GoBots vs Transformers: This is another technical one, In terms of Character Lore, The GoBots Characters were invited in 1983 and the Transformers were invented in 1984, but the Transformers Toys were originally Japanese Diaclone figures made in 1982 and Tonka made the Gobots in 1983.

Moving on we have Daffy Duck vs Donald Duck. Donald Duck Edges out Daffy by about 3 Years, Donald came out in 1934, Daffy in 1937. But Donald’s Temper wasn’t shown until 1936 in Mickey’s Grand Opera.

Then there is Captain Marvel vs Captain Marvel, and of course Captain Marvel Came first, I don’t get why so many people think Captain Marvel came before Captain Marvel. To clarify the DC Superhero first appeared in Whiz Comics #2 in 1940 and DC actually sued Wiz Comics as they believed he copied Superman. This had Whiz Comics abandon the trademark and allowed Marvel Comics to use it Creating Captain Marvel in 1967. When DC licensed the Rights to the Captain Marvel in 1972, They could not use the phrase Captain Marvel, because Marvel own the Trade Mark since 1967.
