The Stalker Anomaly Mod is so much more than that - it is a free stand-alone game that combines the maps of the original trilogy of the game, improves the graphics and adds a whole load more gameplay mechanics & quests.

I'd recommend that before playing Anomaly you at least have played some of Stalker Shadow Of Chernobyl, simply because the original games are a bit easier and then you won't be as overwhelmed when you fire up Anomaly. You'll also be more familiar with the history, lore, characters and locations of the Stalker Universe & the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone...
