In marvels secret Invasion episode 1 Who is G'Iah

G’Iah is a character from Marvel’s Secret Invasion. She is played by Emilia Clarke. G’Iah is a Skrull, an alien race that can shapeshift into any form. She is also the daughter of Talos, the Skrull leader who befriended Nick Fury and Maria Hill in Captain Marvel.

In the first episode of Secret Invasion, G’Iah is revealed to be part of a secret society of Skrull refugees in Russia, led by Gravik, a Skrull extremist who wants to take over Earth. G’Iah seems to be conflicted about her loyalty to her father and her people, and tries to help Talos and Fury escape from Gravik’s trap.

G’Iah’s character is different from her comic book counterpart, who was introduced in 2019 as a Skrull agent who lived undercover on Earth with her husband and three daughters. She was part of the Skrull invasion plans and had to face a secret organization called Project Blossom that hunted down Skrulls. In the comics, G’Iah never met Talos or Fury, and had a different appearance and personality.
