Who Needs Sonic, Anyway? [Tails Adventure] Ep. 1
3This game is an unusual one: a Sonic game except that it doesn't star Sonic and it isn't a Sonic game! Instead, it's Tails, and it's a platformer with light puzzle elements and Metroidvania'esque navigation stuff. In any case, although the gameplay is really solid, what really blows me away about this game is the presentation: the graphics and music are really great! It's crazy to think that this is an 8-bit machine that was competing with the likes of the NES and Game Boy. As for progress, I'm really feeling this game out, still, and it's nonlinear, so it's really difficult to say! We've beaten a couple of different bosses, though, and we've done a lot of running away from some Metal Sonic'esque... robot... flicky thing?
Anyway, it's been a lot of fun, so far, and I'm looking forward to continuing in the next episode!
