The Seikret, a raptor-like companion that the Hunter now has, seems to have a similar function as the Palamute but also has the ability to glide, bound between rock formations, and access equipment.
Now, the Hunter can mount their Seikret to switch between two weapons they bring on a hunt.
Compared to earlier games, the hunting areas have greatly expanded.
The player can initiate a quest and go straight to the hunting place without having to wait for a loading screen because hub areas now have direct connections to hunting locations.
It is now possible to begin a quest right from the field, even right after completing one.
