Sergio Perez had a fantastic 2022 Season. It was his best season in Formula 1 to date with 2 victories and 11 podiums but even with this great result I am still not 100% sure his future is secure and today I am going to be talking about why I believe Sergio Perez will be under pressure to perform in 2023. I think he is because Mercedes and Ferrari are showing that they are in a position to have a stronger 2023, with stronger cars. Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will be a much larger threat to Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen, especially with the tyre change and the development restrictions on Red Bull. 2023 could be a big year and could be a difficult one for Perez.
